X402 provides an automated API interface for the temporary lease of third-party cloud resources. We do not own the underlying hardware. You acknowledge that your instance is subject to the technical constraints and uptime of our upstream providers.
Instances are "Ephemeral by Design." Data is stored on non-persistent volumes. X402 does not provide backups, snapshots, or data redundancy. Upon lease expiration or manual deletion, all data is permanently destroyed via API signal to the host data center.
All x402 payments (USDC on Base) are final and immutable. Credits are applied in real-time to your automated lease. Due to the peer-to-peer nature of the protocol, we cannot issue refunds for unused time or misconfigured instances.
To maintain our upstream reputation, usage for DDoS, botnets, malware hosting, or illegal activities is strictly prohibited. Detection of such activities by our automated monitors or the provider's firewall will result in an immediate nuke of the session without warning.
